NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team is back on the links this Monday and Tuesday at the Grahame McDowell Invitational in Birmingham, Alabama.
WHAT'S BRUIN
- The Bruins are coming off a third place finish at the Jaguar Invitational three weeks ago. Three Bruins finished among the top-20 at the event. Chris Harpum and Omar Khalid both tied for fourth, while Hugh Donegan tied for 17th place.
- Harpum and Khalid lead the team in scoring at 70.7. Donegan is right behind at 72.0.
- For their finishes at the Jaguar Invitational, Harpum and Khalid were named MVC Co-Golfers of the Week.
The Grahame McDowell Invitational is a three-day, 54 hole event with 18 holes contested on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. It will be held at Inverness Country Club, which will play to a par 71 and a length of 6,800 yards.
The field features 15 teams and includes the likes of host UAB, Austin Peay, Central Arkansas, Charleston Southern, Jacksonville State, Tennessee Tech and Winthrop.
