Men's Track & Field Ready for MVC Outdoor Championships

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University men's track & field will take part in the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships this weekend from Lew Hartzog Track & Field Complex in Carbondale, Illinois.
 
Several Bruins have posted outstanding spring competition seasons, ranking among the league's top performers in respective disciplines.
 
Headlining Belmont's leading candidates for podium finishes include:
 

• Austin Belle – 200m
• Nick Mota – 5000m
• Ethan Hammer – 5000m & 10,000m
• Jacob Ricks – 10,000m
• Andrew Hammel – 10,000m
• Morgan Lewis – 400m hurdles
• Kevin Vanderkolk – 3000m steeplechase
• Zach Brill – 3000m steeplechase
• Jack Perry – pole vault
• Sam Parker - javelin

 
Behind six podium finishes – including three gold medals - the Bruins placed sixth in the 2024 MVC Outdoor Championships.
 
Belmont was picked seventh in this year's pre-championship poll.
