NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Belmont University women's cross country team gets the 2025 season going Friday Aug. 29 at the Belmont Opener, hosted at Percy Warner Park in Nashville.
The Belmont Opener is an annual tradition that kicks off the Bruins' season and hosts several teams from around the southeast.
The Bruins ranked 14th in the South Region of the U.S Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) final cross country regional rankings last season and look to get off to a fast start.
The women's 5K will begin at 9:15 a.m.
