Greg Kilgore pitched at Belmont from 1976-79 and is one of the most successful pitcher in the program’s history. During his four years, Belmont had an overall record of 101-48 (.678 winning percentage) and won three Volunteer State Athletic Conference (VSAC) championships.

For his career, Kilgore ranks in Belmont’s top 10 in six different categories: wins (26 – 1st), winning percentage (26-8 .765 – 3rd), innings pitched (275.0 – 9th), starts (40 – 8th), complete games (17 – 3rd) and strikeouts (215 – 8th).
