Weaver established standards by which all Belmont female distance runners would be measured.

A three-time All-South Region honoree in cross country, Weaver Corlew holds the distinction of being Belmont’s first NCAA era All-American in any sport, so named in the 10,000m in 2000.   Belmont joined the Atlantic Sun Conference while Weaver Corlew was an upperclassman, and she would earn First Team All-Atlantic Sun honors in both cross country and track and field.  Her 5K (17:05, 2001 Auburn Invitational) and 3000m (9:52.32, 2000 Willie Williams Classic) marks have stood the test of time, remaining program records to this day.
