Hall of Fame
Bobbitt Doaks stands as one of the most decorated post players in Belmont women’s basketball history, helping bridge the gap from the Betty Wiseman and Tony Cross eras into its current run of national prominence under Bart Brooks. Part of the Bruins’ first NCAA Tournament team in 2007, the Trenton, Tennessee native graduated second in Atlantic Sun Conference history in career blocked shots (290). One of only five Belmont players of the NCAA Division I era with over 1,100 points and 850 rebounds, Bobbitt Doaks pulled the rare trifecta in earning Atlantic Sun All-Decade Team (2001-10), All-Atlantic Sun and Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team honors. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing before pursuing a career in the health care industry. Jessica Bobbitt Doaks currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband Nicchaeus Doaks.
