Warpool ushered Belmont Baseball into the NCAA Division I era with remarkable consistency, athleticism and versatility. Named to the 2004 Johnny Bench Award Watch List—given annually to the best catcher in college baseball—the Nashville native was named All-Atlantic Sun in each of Belmont’s first two seasons in the conference after spending two seasons competing as an NCAA Division I independent. The catcher hit .375 as a senior with 30 extra-base hits and a 1.095 on-base plus slugging average. He hit .361 as a junior and tied the conference tournament record with a 5-for-5 hitting game. Warpool also threw-out 31 percent of runners attempting to steal base, above the Major League Baseball average. He finished his Belmont career with a .337 batting average and 83 extra-base hits. Jason graduated in 2004 and earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing. In 2005 Warpool began his career working at Thoroughbred Financial Services as a financial planner in Brentwood, Tennessee here he also currently resides. Jason met his wife Jessica in 2009 and got married in June of 2010. Together they have twin girls, Brooklyn and Ivey and a son, Hudson. Jason’s children play several sports and he coached their travel baseball and softball teams as well as their basketball and flag football team. The Warpools enjoy traveling in their free time.
