Lori Fischer came out of Nashville’s Hillsboro High School to become one of Dave Young’s first top recruits for the women’s cross country and track program. Her dedication and outstanding work ethic would be her trademark as she continued to improve year by year. She was two-time NAIA District 24 Champion in Cross Country and was a three-time NAIA All-American in Track & Field.

Her passion and dedication helped her earn Academic All-American in both her junior and senior seasons in 1984 and 1985.

Lori graduated from Belmont and went on to have a successful career in the theater and writing and directing in New York.
