Justin Hare helped elevate the Belmont men's basketball program to national prominence, leading the Bruins to three consecutive Atlantic Sun Conference championships and the program's first three automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament.

Known as 'Mr. Big Shot,' Hare delivered some of the most memorable and historically significant moments in Belmont history. Among his astounding 14 career game-tying or game-winning shots, were the conventional three-point play in the waning seconds of the 2006 Atlantic Sun Championship game vs. Lipscomb and his jump shot to carry the Bruins past Alabama.

A three-time All-Atlantic Sun selection and 2008 CollegeInsider.com National Mid-Major Most Valuable Player, Hare is currently fourth in the Bruins' NCAA era record book and 21st in Atlantic Sun Conference history in scoring with 1,761 points.

The Cleveland, Tennessee native was also a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American, 2008 Division I-AAA National Scholar-Athlete of the Year and recipient of a prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.
